Boron carbide is hard black with glossy crystals. Hardness is lower than industrial diamond, but higher than silicon carbide. It is less vulnerable than most pottery. It has a large thermal neutron capture cross section. Strong resistance to chemistry. The erosion of hydrogen fluoride and nitric acid. Soluble in molten base, insoluble in water and acid.

Walnut shell sand is made of high quality walnut shell, through crushing, polishing, steaming and washing, high temperature treatment, two times screening processing. It is high hardness, wear resistance, good pressure resistance, resistance to pressure of 23.4kgf, stable chemical property, do not dissolve in acid and alkali , excellent absorption sewage interception capability, adsorption rate is 27 – 50%, with good hydrophilicity,  oil  resistance, etc.

Brown fused aluminum oxide, otherwise known as Brown Fused Alumina or BFA, is produced through an electric arc furnace process. Brown fused aluminum oxide is both a hard (Mohs hardness 9) and tough material with high strength, making it an excellent abrasive grain raw material for applications such as blast media, sandpaper, grinding wheels and abrasive discs, rolls, belts and pads. Its thermal properties make it an excellent raw material for refractory applications, as well.
